Founder & Executive Director
Clifford Ryan Jr.'s journey is a powerful testament to the themes of redemption, community advocacy, and the pursuit of a lasting legacy.
Based in Syracuse, New York, Clifford has transformed personal setbacks and past experiences with the justice system into a mission of service and systemic change. Over the last decade, he has dedicated himself to building United Society Affiliates, a non-profit organization that serves as a vital central connector for underserved communities. His work is rooted in the belief that access to information and resources is the key to breaking cycles of poverty and incarceration.
From establishing a virtual reality arena to bridge the digital divide to partnering with Syracuse University for legal literacy workshops, Clifford's vision is as innovative as it is compassionate. His story is not just about his own evolution, but about his commitment to "opening doors" for others—ensuring that the next generation has the guidance, technology, and advocacy they need to succeed.
Through his podcast, State of the Streets Address, and his legislative work on transparency for the incarcerated, Clifford is redefining what it means to lead from the heart of the community.
